Intisar Omran Abdullah Rahuma is a faculty member in the History Department at the College of Arts, Tripoli.Mrs. Intisar Rahuma has been working at the University of Tripoli as a teaching assistant since 02-18-2003.She has many scientific publications in her field of specialization   She taught many teaching subjects in the department, including:1. Research Interests

The focus of research interest is on issues related to ancient history that Dr. Intisar is interested in, and she has conducted many researches in this field.. Published research:-1- (Phoenician trading stations and their impact on ancient Libya) Al-Arabiya, 2014.2- (Garum industry in Leptis Magna), Fikr and Creativity Magazine, Issue 130, October 2019, Arab Republic of Egypt.3- (Emperor Caracalla), Thought and Creativity Magazine, Issue 133, 2020, Arab Republic of Egypt.4- The architecture of the Phoenician Punic houses through models from the city of Carthah and Kerkuan. Al-Ma’rifa Magazine, 6/2020, Bani Walid University.5- (The olive oil industry in North Africa during the Roman era) currently under publication.0. She holds a training course in the Latin language from the Center for Papyrus and Inscriptions Studies / Ain Shams University / Arab Republic of Egypt.0. She holds a computer training course (LCDL) from the TDNS Center, Al-Azhar University/ Arab Republic of Egypt.  0. She holds English language courses from the American University in Cairo.0. She holds a French language course from Al-Azhar University.

External Activities

In addition to her work as a lecturer in the Department of History, she cooperated with Gharyan University/Department of Tourism and Archeology. She taught Roman history and museology.

I participated in a scientific conference at the University of Benghazi with a scientific research entitled (Pottery vessels and their multiple functions in daily life in the Three Cities region during the Roman era).

I discussed a master’s thesis in medieval history at the Department of History/University of Misrata, submitted by the student Salama Muhammad al-Zaalouk, entitled The Christian Religion in the Roman Empire from Diocletian to Justinian.
