Mahmoud Al-Najjar is an assistant professor and a faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry at the College of Human Medicine. Mr. Mahmoud Al-Najjar has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 03-20-2011 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

Dr. Mahmoud served as head of the Department of Biochemistry between 2016-2017

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Najjar participated in scientific publications in scientific conferences in his field in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya (the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth medical conference in Benghazi, Tripoli, and Al-Zawiya, and the health conference in Lebanon)

Dr. Mahmoud worked as an external examiner in the subject of biochemistry and molecular biology in Libyan medical colleges in several Libyan universities, including Gharyan, Al-Zawiya, Zintan, Benghazi, Ajdabiya, and Misrata.

Dr. Mahmoud worked as a collaborating professor in several Libyan universities, including the University of Benghazi, Ajdabiya, Misrata, Al-Zawiya, and Gharyan, as well as the College of Science, University of Tripoli, the Higher Institute for Teacher Preparation, Tripoli, the Higher Institute for Teacher Preparation, Souq Al-Ahad, and the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Tripoli and Zliten.

Dr. Mahmoud worked as a member of scientific societies: the Society of Chemistry Sciences in Tripoli and the Society of Health Sciences in Tunisia

Dr. Mahmoud participated in establishing medical research laboratories at the University of Tripoli

Research Interests

Dr. Mahmoud is interested in researching poisoning with heavy metals such as lead and arsenic using atomic absorption and measuring chemical indicators using a spectrophotometer.
