Roles

Taher Emahbes is one of the staff members at the department of Community medicine faculty of Medicine . He is working as Assistant lecturer since 2014-06-12. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several publications in the field of Public health.

At the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Medicine, in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, I play a significant role in educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals. I deliver lectures on key public health topics such as epidemiology, biostatistics, health management, disaster management, and behavioral science. These subjects provide students with a solid foundation in understanding the dynamics of population health, the management of health services, and the factors influencing health behavior.

In addition to lectures, I also conduct practical tutorials and lab sessions, particularly focusing on biostatistics, health management, noncommunicable diseases, and behavioral science. These sessions are designed to enhance students' practical skills, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world health challenges.

Beyond teaching, I serve as the focal point between the University of Tripoli and the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in Libya. This role allows me to facilitate collaboration between academic research and public health initiatives, contributing to efforts aimed at improving public health practices, policy implementation, and disease prevention strategies across the country.
