Dr. Khalid Al-Bashir Salem Abouain works as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tripoli. One of the main roles of Dr. Khalid Al-Bashir Salem Abouain is that he is one of the prominent members who developed the syllabus for the Information Technology course in the Faculty of Medicine for the Bachelor's program, as well as the Information Technology curriculum for the postgraduate studies at the faculty. Dr. Khalid Abouain has published numerous studies and scientific research papers in his field of specialization. He has also contributed to research papers on data analysis, yielding valuable results. His research interests are broad but primarily focus on Medical Image Compression.
External Activities
For over 8 years, Dr. Khalid Abouain has been involved in academic and administrative work with both the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the National Center for Infection Control, teaching courses focused on the use of computer technology in medical fields. Additionally, Dr. Khalid Abouain conducts workshops inside and outside the faculty on the use of computers in administrative fields.
