Roles
-Teaching:-
I was responsible for teaching basic and clinical medical students, interns and practicing doctors. Teaching roles include:
A-Lectures: Delivering formal lectures on various topics such as behaviors, medical ethics, epidemics and infectious diseases, etc.
B-Clinical teaching in small groups to train students on patient-patient communication skills, etc.
C-Guidance: Guide students in their academic and professional development, and provide professional advice and guidance.
D-Curriculum development: Design and update medical curricula, and ensure that they remain in line with developments in medical sciences and education.
2-Scientific research:-
A-Research supervision: Guiding students in the clinical and internship stages as well as practicing doctors in their research projects from the formulation of the research topic, objectives, hypotheses and analysis of results to the publication stage.
B-Participation in publishing research in peer-reviewed scientific journals and local and international scientific conferences.

3- Evaluation and Assessment
A- Student Evaluation:- Evaluation of students' academic performance by creating midterm and final exams.
B- Competency Evaluation: Evaluation of clinical skills, communication skills and other competencies through the OSCE exam.
Careers
I started working as a teaching assistant in the Department of Ophthalmology from January 2009 to August 201. Then I joined the Department of Family and Community Medicine as an adjunct faculty member (Assistant Lecturer) from January 2018 to December 2019. Now I have moved to the Department of Family and Community Medicine as a permanent faculty member (Assistant Lecturer).
Research Interests
1-Knowledge and Awareness about Human Papillomavirus, Cervical Cancer and HPV Vaccine among College Students in Tripoli
2- Determining direct, and indirect healthcare and social costs for diabetic retinopathy management; a systematic review
3-Burnout Syndrome among Libyan Physicians in different specialties: An observational cross-section study
4- Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Shortening Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Follow-up
External Activities
-Public Health Specialist at the Center for Disease Control.
2-Resident Physician and Researcher in Ophthalmology at Tripoli Eye Hospital.
3-Member of the Libyan National Committee for Biosafety and Bioethics.
4-Mentor of the EMPNET Field Epidemiology Team.
