Roles

Since my appointment at the university, I have undertaken a wide range of academic, educational, and administrative responsibilities that contribute to the advancement of medical education and the achievement of the institution's academic objectives. My duties include delivering theoretical lectures and participating in clinical teaching and practical training for undergraduate medical students, preparing and updating course materials, and ensuring that teaching content reflects current evidence-based medical practice. I actively participate in the preparation, organization, supervision, and evaluation of written, practical, and clinical examinations, including question writing, grading, and examination quality assurance. In addition, I provide academic advising and mentorship to students, monitor their academic progress, and support their professional development throughout their medical education. I regularly participate in departmental meetings, scientific discussions, curriculum development, and quality assurance activities aimed at enhancing teaching methods and learning outcomes. Furthermore, I contribute to departmental committees, assist in organizing academic events, seminars, workshops, and continuing medical education activities, and collaborate with colleagues in implementing educational initiatives and institutional policies. I also participate in research-related activities and strive to promote a productive academic environment that supports excellence in education, research, and community service.

Careers

During my appointment in the Department of Radiology, I actively contributed to undergraduate medical education through teaching theoretical lectures and conducting tutorial sessions in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I participated in bedside and clinical teaching, supervised students during their practical training, and provided academic guidance to support their learning and professional development. I also contributed to the preparation, organization, invigilation, and assessment of written and practical examinations, ensuring adherence to academic standards. In addition, I participated in departmental academic activities, collaborated with faculty members in curriculum delivery and educational planning, and supported continuous improvement of the teaching and learning process by applying the experience gained during my work as a Teaching Assistant.

Research Interests

My research interests focus on diagnostic radiology, particularly cross-sectional imaging, including computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). I am interested in advancing imaging techniques for the early diagnosis and characterization of neurological, thoracic, abdominal, and musculoskeletal diseases. I also have a strong interest in emergency and trauma radiology, oncologic imaging, and the application of evidence-based imaging practices to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. In addition, I am interested in medical education research, particularly the development of effective teaching methods and assessment strategies in undergraduate radiology education. I aim to contribute to collaborative clinical research that enhances the quality of radiological services and supports continuous improvement in healthcare.

External Activities

Actively participated in national and international scientific conferences, radiology workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) activities to enhance professional knowledge and clinical practice. Contributed to academic seminars and educational events organized by the department and collaborated in activities aimed at promoting medical education and professional development.
