• 2008: Appointed as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Histology and Genetics after successfully passing the academic selection process.
• 2013: Submitted a formal proposal to the university presidency to establish a department or office dedicated to Occupational Health and Safety, aiming to promote a safer work environment.
• 2014: Delivered voluntary lectures on laboratory safety and security at the Faculty of Medicine (Departments of Histology and Biochemistry), contributing to enhanced health and professional awareness.
• 2019: Earned a Master’s degree in the field, paving the way for reappointment as a faculty member.
• 2020: Reappointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Histology and Genetics.
• 2021:
  • Appointed as Chair of the Assessment and Evaluation Committee at the Faculty of Medicine, overseeing academic quality assurance.
  • Assigned as Coordinator of Preclinical Studies and Examinations, ensuring smooth delivery of the academic program.
• 2022:
  • Proposed the establishment of an Occupational Health and Safety Unit at the faculty and assumed leadership of the unit.
  • Joined the university’s ISO 9001/2025 Quality Team, contributing to institutional quality standards.
• 2023:
  • Served as a member of the Admissions, Transfers, and Equivalency Committee, participating in student file evaluations.
  • Appointed to the University Disciplinary Council, ensuring adherence to academic regulations and conduct.
• 2024:
  • Appointed as Head of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the faculty, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assigned as Rapporteur of the Internal Audit Committee, monitoring compliance with ISO 9001/2015 standards.
• Actively involved in delivering lectures, laboratory sessions, and theoretical, practical, and oral examinations for courses in the Department of Histology and Genetics.
• Served as Course Coordinator for departmental subjects on three occasions.

External Activities

• Founded the Infection Control Office at Mitiga Hospital in 2008, which remains active to date.
• Established the Infection Control Unit at the Central Blood Bank (Shatt Road, Tripoli) in 2012, still in operation.
• Co-developed and distributed nationwide blood donation awareness brochures for schools in 2013, printed by the Ministry of Education.
• Led a teacher-focused workshop in 2014 that resulted in the inclusion of blood donation in Libya’s secondary school curriculum for the first time.
• Headed the Doctors’ Unit at the Central Blood Bank.
• Founded Libya’s first Blood Donor Counseling Unit in 2014 and assumed leadership in 2021.
• Served at the National Authority for Genetic Research and Analysis in the Quality Assurance Office (2021), chaired the Sample Collection Committee (2022), and joined the Scientific Research Ethics Committee (2023 & 2025).
• Organized multiple voluntary infection control workshops during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020) at Mitiga Hospital, Janzour Hospital, and the Blood Bank.
• Conducted radio awareness sessions on breast cancer, infection control, and blood donation.
