External Activities
- Founded the Infection Control Office at Mitiga Hospital in 2008, which remains active to date.
- Established the Infection Control Unit at the Central Blood Bank (Shatt Road, Tripoli) in 2012, still in operation.
- Co-developed and distributed nationwide blood donation awareness brochures for schools in 2013, printed by the Ministry of Education.
- Led a teacher-focused workshop in 2014 that resulted in the inclusion of blood donation in Libya’s secondary school curriculum for the first time.
- Headed the Doctors’ Unit at the Central Blood Bank.
- Founded Libya’s first Blood Donor Counseling Unit in 2014 and assumed leadership in 2021.
- Served at the National Authority for Genetic Research and Analysis in the Quality Assurance Office (2021), chaired the Sample Collection Committee (2022), and joined the Scientific Research Ethics Committee (2023 & 2025).
- Organized multiple voluntary infection control workshops during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020) at Mitiga Hospital, Janzour Hospital, and the Blood Bank.
