I worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Histology and Genetics in 2008. After passing the competition, I submitted a written proposal to the university presidency in 2013 to establish a department or office concerned with occupational health and safety. I gave voluntary lectures on infection control in laboratories at the Faculty of Medicine in 2014. I was reappointed to the department 2020 as a faculty member after my master's degree in 2019, where I held positions as head and member of several committees, including the Admission, Transfer, and Equivalency Committee 2023, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Committee 2021, and member of the Disciplinary Board 2023-2024. I was assigned the duties of coordinator of studies and examinations for the pre-clinical stage 2021. I proposed the establishment of an occupational health and safety unit and headed it in 2022. Head of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the college 2024. Member of the university's ISO 9001/2025 team in 2022, and a rapporteur member of the internal audit committee to follow up on the ISO 9001/2015 standard specification in 2024.

External Activities
I established the Infection Control Office at Mitiga Hospital in 2008 and it is still operating. I worked as a collaborator at the Central Blood Bank on Shatt Road/Tripoli where I established the Infection Control Unit in 2012 and it is still operating. My colleagues and I prepared awareness brochures about blood donation in schools in 2013 and distributed them to all schools in Libya after they were printed by the Ministry of Education (Curriculum Department). We also supervised the preparation of a workshop specifically for teachers where the topic of blood donation was included in the Libyan curriculum for the first time in 2014 for the second year of secondary school. I headed the doctor's unit at the bank. I established the Blood Donor Counseling Unit at the bank for the first time in Libyan blood banks in 2014 and headed it in 2021. I worked at the National Authority for Genetic Research and Analysis in 2021 in the Quality Assurance Office and headed the Sample Collection Committee in 2022, then a member of the Scientific Research Ethics Committee in 2023. I prepared several voluntary workshops in 2020 regarding infection control during the Corona pandemic in both Maitika and Janzour Hospitals and the Blood Bank. I had several awareness meetings on breast cancer, infection control, and blood donation on the radio.
