Roles

Nadia Sifennasr is an Assistant Professor and virologist who earned her PhD from Imperial College London, UK, where she focuses on virus-host interactions, specifically investigating the role of host proteins and RNA in HCV replication. She served as the Head of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the Faculty of Medicine and is actively involved in several committees dedicated to education quality assurance.

Research Interests

Her research interests include antimicrobial resistance, focusing on ESKAPEE pathogens and Helicobacter pylori, examining their roles in resistance mechanisms. She also explores the transmission dynamics and public health impacts of various pathogens, particularly HCV and HIV.
