Roles

Since March 1993, I have served as Coordinator of Internal Medicine examinations at the Faculty of Medicine. I have been a faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine since February 2000 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in April 2007. I served as Head of the Department of Internal Medicine from February 2010 to April 2012 and as a member of the Faculty Appointment and Promotion Committee from July 2007 to April 2012. In January 2025, I was appointed as a full-time faculty member and currently serve as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Medicine since January 2025.

Careers

Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, and former Head of the Department of Internal Medicine. Coordinator of Internal Medicine examinations since 1993. Founder and General Director of Tripoli Cancer Center (2017–2024), Head of the Oncology Unit at Tripoli Medical Center (2001–2021), and former Medical Director at Tripoli Medical Center.

Research Interests

Focused on cancer related research, in particular Breast, Lung, Colon and Prostate, early detection programs in cancer care, , quality improvement in cancer care, and medical education.

External Activities

Consultant Medical Oncologist at Tripoli Cancer Center and Oil Clinic. Advisor to the Public Health Insurance Fund.
