Field of interest

- Diabetes in Pregnancy (dip)

- Founder & Manager of diabetic pregnancy unit (DPU), Aljalaa   Maternity Hospital, it is a referring clinic for diabetic pregnant   ladies from the whole west & south sector of the country since    1998 up to date.

- It is a very busy clinic performed 3 times/week, all pregnant

  known pre gestational diabetics or newly discovered                   gestational diabetics as well as diabetic women who

  plan to conceive are referred to this clinic.

- All referred cases are registered either for pre conception

  counselling ( diabetic plan to conceive) or for ante natal care

  ( pregnant) following a protocol selected carefully from

  different international prestigious schools in the same field and

  updating every 2 years.
