-         Specialist in treating cutaneous Leishmaniasis since 2016.

-         Researcher in NCDC (laboratory of parasitology) since January 2013.

-         General practitioner in A and E department in Tripoli Central Hospital between September 2006 and October 2007.

TEACHING ACTIVITIES:

-         Teaching the basic knowledge and practice on cold chain and vaccine management to newly graduated medical doctors as a part of the internship program.

-         A volunteer lecturer for fifth year medical students in both theoretical and bedside cases, in General medicine and special medicine (respiratory).

-         As part of my work in NCDC, providing some presentations about general parasitology.

Research Interests

My principal interests lie in the field of Medicine, in which the long term diseases play an important role. My future research plans are to build on the foundations of PhD especially in public health related zoonotic diseases especially those with long term disability and concern (visceral and cutaneous Leishmaniasis), and the evolution of anti-microbial resistance in recent years, also to build up my knowledge about molecular diagnostic methods.
