Appointed to the committee evaluating the academic qualifications of a doctoral degree holder regarding their joining the Department of Paediatrics.

Assigned to chair the committee responsible for drafting the final written examination questions for the Spring 2026 semester.

 

Careers

Consultant Pediatrician and Pediatric Nephrologist; Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. Holds a Master’s degree in Pediatrics from Alexandria University (1999) and the Arab Board Fellowship (March 2009). Serves as an internal and external examiner at several universities, including those in Zawiya, Misrata, Al-Khums, Zliten, Benghazi, and Al-Bayda, as well as for the Arab Board Fellowship. Appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at Al-Mergeb University in 2006 (initially as a Lecturer), progressing through the academic ranks to the position of Professor on June 30, 2017. Transferred to the University of Tripoli at the same academic rank on August 31, 2025.

Research Interests

Pediatric Nephrology Specialist Scientific Research in Nephrology Multiple research papers published in peer-reviewed journals in the field of pediatric nephrology Supervision of research for Libyan and Arab fellowship programs, as well as research at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Medical Technology

External Activities

·        Training Coordinator for the Arab Board of Health Specializations (Pediatrics) and General Training Coordinator for the Arab Board Fellowship

·        Trainer for the Libyan Board Fellowship

·        External Examiner for the Arab Board of Health Specializations (Pediatrics)

·        Participation in various medical outreach missions to cities located far from the capital
