LAILA ELBARGHATI is one of the staff members at pathology department. She is working as a professor since 2018-10-27 and head department since 1-2-2021. She teaches several subjects and has several publications in the field of her interest.

Careers

I worked as a demonstrator in pathology department from 1996-2000 then travelled to UK for my master degree & PhD from 2001-2006 then worked in Pathology department, tripoli university as a lecturer in 2007 then Assistant professor in 2010 then Associate professor in 2014 then professor in 2018, lastly head of department in 1-2-2021 till now.

I am a course director in preparing written and practical exams from 2011.

Research Interests

   Research interst:  Role of hypoxia inducible transcription factors in hypoxic areas of malignant tumors

External Activities

 Evaluation of research papers regarding pathology

Assist in teaching and examination prepration to other unversities as Sabha, Sirit and Tarhona

Assist in postgrauate studies as in Microbiology & General surgery
