I recently joined department of surgery as a lecturer at faculty of medicine, Tripoli university. During my career years in the UK, teaching was an important aspect of my practice which I greatly enjoy and find that as well as being able to help medical students and junior colleagues understand the practice of surgery also to keep myself up to date. I provide teaching and training of junior staff, medical students and nurses. I also teach and supervise junior colleagues surgical skills training and academic work. I was also a trust appraiser.
