Appointed as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Human Medicine, University of Tripoli, in 2014. Since then, I have contributed to teaching activities by assisting faculty members in delivering theoretical lectures, conducting practical sessions, and supervising theoretical and practical examinations. I have also pursued professional and academic development, obtaining a Board Certification in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and a Master’s degree in Microbiology in 2021.

Careers

### Academic and Professional Career Progression

I began my academic and professional career at the Faculty of Human Medicine, University of Tripoli, on 10 March 2014, when I was appointed as a Teaching Assistant. Since then, I have actively contributed to the academic process through assisting faculty members in delivering theoretical lectures, conducting practical teaching sessions, and participating in the supervision and invigilation of theoretical and practical examinations.

Alongside my academic responsibilities, I continuously pursued professional and academic development in my fields of specialization. In 2021, I obtained my specialty qualification in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) from the Libyan Board of Medical Specialties. In the same year, I also obtained a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies.

As part of my academic career progression, University of Tripoli President’s Decision No. 1666 was issued on 8 August 2026, concerning my reappointment as a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Lecturer. This appointment represents an important milestone in my academic and professional career and reflects my continued commitment to teaching, professional development, and academic advancement.

Research Interests

### Research Areas and Interests

My research interests primarily focus on **Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)** and **Microbiology**, with particular emphasis on integrating clinical and laboratory perspectives. My areas of interest include investigating microbial factors associated with ear, nose, and throat diseases, as well as their diagnosis, prevention, and management. I am also interested in contributing to clinical and laboratory-based research that advances medical knowledge, supports evidence-based practice, and contributes to improving the quality of patient care.

External Activities

### Scientific and Professional Activities Outside the University

I have participated in several scientific conferences and specialized workshops in the field of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), with the aim of keeping up to date with the latest scientific and medical developments and enhancing my professional and clinical skills. Among these activities was **OtoLibya 3**, held at the Misrata Oncology Center, in addition to several other specialized scientific conferences and workshops.
