My core responsibilities include: 1. Teaching: I teach specialized courses in pharmacology, with a focus on drugs used in anesthesia and intensive care. I strive to deliver comprehensive educational content that includes both theoretical and practical aspects, helping students understand the clinical applications of drugs. 2. Academic Supervision: I supervise graduate students in their scientific research, particularly those related to pharmacology and anesthesia. I provide guidance and feedback to ensure the quality of their research and help them achieve their academic goals. 3. Curriculum Development: I contribute to updating the curriculum based on recent research and student needs to ensure the content is aligned with the latest advancements in pharmacology and anesthesia. 5. Participation in Administrative Meetings: I take part in departmental meetings to discuss the progress of the educational process, develop future work plans, review academic performance, and propose improvements.
Careers
I began my career as a lecturer in pharmacology in 2016 at the College of Technology, Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care. From the start of my academic career, I focused on teaching both fundamental and advanced courses in pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on drugs used in anesthesia and intensive care.
During this period, I guided anesthesia and intensive care students to understand pharmacological mechanisms and their effects on the human body, particularly in critical clinical settings like operating rooms and intensive care units. My responsibilities included delivering lectures, designing course curricula, and supervising students in practical applications.
In addition to teaching, I have been actively involved in scientific research, contributing to several studies on the development of drugs used in anesthesia and improving strategies in intensive care. I have also supervised graduate students’ research related to anesthesia and pharmacology, which has helped elevate the level of scientific research in the department.
Throughout my years in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, I have consistently aimed to integrate the latest research findings into the curriculum, ensuring that students are better prepared to work in the fields of anesthesia and critical care.
Research Interests
My research interests focus on the field of pharmacology, particularly drugs used in anesthesia and intensive care. I concentrate on studying the effects of various drugs on the human body, with a specific interest in drug interactions during critical situations such as surgeries and intensive care units. I am also interested in developing new strategies to improve the efficacy of anesthetic drugs and minimize their associated side effects.
Additionally, my research interests include studying drug resistance and ways to mitigate it, especially in medications for chronic diseases and critical care scenarios. I am also involved in improving drug management practices in intensive care settings, focusing on enhancing drug safety and improving patient outcomes.
External Activities
In addition to my academic and research responsibilities, I actively participate in several external activities that support the advancement of the medical field in general, and anesthesiology in particular. I regularly contribute to workshops and conferences, both locally and internationally, related to anesthesia and intensive care, where I deliver lectures and engage in discussions on the latest developments in pharmacology and modern medical technologies.
