   Abdussalam Ali Ramadan Ashour, born in 1956 in Qasr al-Akhyar, is a faculty member in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Faculty of Medical Technology at the University of Tripoli. He holds a bachelor's degree in medical laboratories with a grade of very good from the Faculty of Engineering and Technical Sciences, Sebha University in 1983, then he obtained a master's degree in microbiology specializing in immunology from the Federal University, Minas Gerais, Scientific Institute of Biology, Republic of Brazil in 1990 for a research entitled Production of monoclonal antibody antirotavirus. He also received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology with First Class Honors from the Faculty of Medicine of the State University of São Paulo, Republic of Brazil in 2001, for a research studying the VAC gene and the Cag gene of Helicobacter Pylori, where his research won first place in Latin America for several consecutive years.

Abdussalam Ali Ashour worked in Tripoli as a lecturer and researcher at Sebha University, Faculty of Medicine from 1990 to 2004, then moved to the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Medical Technology, Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care as a lecturer and researcher specializing in immunology and molecular biology. He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization. He held many academic and administrative positions, including Head of the Department of Dental Technology, Head of the Department of Anesthesia and Care, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Coordinator of the Quality Department at the College of Medical Technology, and was the President of the Faculty Members Syndicate for more than 15 years.

Academic supervision of master's students at the Libyan Academy, who are prepared by the state to be faculty members and researchers in university colleges and higher institutes, in addition to being among the cadres of scientific research in specialized scientific centers, which contributes to the development and advancement of the country, especially in the medical field, which is very important, as they can avoid the spread of endemic and imported diseases and epidemics and advise officials to take appropriate action at the right time.

    Regularly participate in a variety of outdoor activities aimed at enhancing my academic and research knowledge and developing my practical skills in my field of specialization. These activities include attending local and international conferences that address the latest developments in microbiology, especially immunology and microbiology, which are considered the subspecialties, as this allowed him to learn about the latest research and recent trends in this field. He also participated in workshops organized by specialized scientific institutions, which helps him to enhance my expertise in advanced laboratory technologies.

Through my academic supervision of master's students at the Libyan Academy, I regularly participate in a variety of external activities aimed at enhancing my academic and research knowledge while developing my practical skills in my field of expertise. Additionally, I take part in workshops organized by specialized scientific institutions, which help me strengthen my expertise in advanced laboratory techniques. Furthermore, I publish my research in peer-reviewed scientific journals and work to foster research collaborations with other academic institutions, allowing me to integrate the academic content I deliver to students with contemporary scientific practices and experiences.
