I am an academic staff member at the Department of Medical Laboratories Sciences in the Faculty of Medical Technology at Tripoli University, Tripoli Libya. My current professional interests are in Microbiology, especially in diagnostic medical microbiology , medical bacteriology, and microbial drug resistant. Most of my efforts have been in Clinical Microbiology serving as a lecture in Diagnostic Medical Microbiology, Medical Bacteriology, and General Medical Microbiology. Most of my main research interest’s work in medical laboratories was concentrated on biosafety and biosecurity, the nosocomial infections and antimicrobial resistance, also research projects for students.
Head of the Quality Committee in the Department.
Coordinator of the study and examinations in the department, and also the coordinator of the Diagnostic Medical Microbiology course in the seventh semester.

Hamida El Magrahi is one of the staff members at the department of faculty . He is working as a since 2009-02-02. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several puplications in the field of his interest. in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Faculty of Medical Technology. Has been working at the University of Tripoli as an assistant lecturer since 02/02/2009 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. As a lecturer 02/15/2018. As an assistant professor since 09/19/2021 in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences - Faculty of Medical Technology - University of Tripoli, with extensive experience in teaching medical laboratory students in general microbiology, clinical microbiology, medical bacteriology, and diagnostic medical microbiology.
Research Interests
Diagnostic Medical Microbiology, and Microbial Drug Resistance.
During my early career, most of my main research interests were in the field of health service, where the study included epidemiology, hospital infections, and antibiotic resistance of microorganisms in hospitals, especially Tripoli Medical Hospital.

Member of a local and international research group ASOS North Africa.
Reviewer of some scientific journals.
