Roles

Abdulhamid Alkout is one of the staff members at the department of medical laborator. He is working as professor since 2014-10-01. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several puplications in the field of his interest.

Abdul Hamid Alkout is one of the faculty members in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science at the College of Medical Technology. Prof Alkout has been working at the University of Tripoli as a professor since2014 and was leactruer from  2002 teaching Immunology and  serology for students of the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences. He has many scientific publications and is very interested in research in the field of infection and immunity, and the blood bank with routine techniques, advanced techniques,He was director of the Office of International Cooperation at the National Council for Technical and Technical Education - this office undertakes the necessary communications with local, regional and international organizations and expresses opinions on the memorandum of understanding and the minutes of the agreement and on education and training. In the year 2000, he participated in the opening of Abusalim Accident and truma Hospital. he was head of the laboratory and blood bank department that deals with routine diagnosis and investigation of accident and emergency cases

Careers

From 2014 to 2016, I was a professor and deputy dean for scientific affairs, and I was head of the General Public Health Department and the Medical Laboratory Department at the Faculty of Medical Technology, University of Tripoli, as well as teaching theoretical and practical lectures in the immunology and serology curriculum for third-year and seventh-semester students of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department.

Research Interests

I am very interested for research in Infection and Immunity, blood bank with  Routine techniques and advanced techniques such as ELISA, CLIA, MIF, tissue culture, detection of inflammatory responses, PCR techniques and in extracting DNA methods included

2012 Leadership Certification:  leadership foundation for Higher Education course supervised by Libyan Ministry of High Education and British Council 2013   Career Guidance Certification :  Course of career guidance policy and practice : a strategic tool for planners and decision makers in employment, Education and Training – organized byInternational Training Center ILO – Turin - Italy

External Activities

I was Director of International Cooperation Bureau at National Board of Technical and Vocational Education –this office is responsible for the necessary contacts with local, regional and international organizations and to express an opinion about the memorandum of understanding and the minutes of the agreement and education and training

 In year 2012 I was Director of Higher institute of Medical Technology – Abosleem / Tripoli

From 2000 to 2006 I had the opportunity to get involved for opening Abosleem trauma Hospital in Tripoli and I was the head of laboratory and blood bank department dealing with routine diagnostic investigation for accident and emergency cases

Economics and Political Science

I successfully completed the Executive Course  of  Public Management, Leadership and Change designed for the National Economic Development Board of Libya.  The programs covers the Introduction to Public Administration, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Budgets and Debt, Regulation and Low, Public Sector Strategy, Communicating Change, Presentation skills, Risk Management, Negotiation, Implementing Projects and Delivering Change in the Public Sector, Developing your Leadership Style, Adopting a Strategic Approach, Network Platforms; expanding to World Wide Market, Leadership in Uncertain Times and Innovation
