Roles

A permanent faculty member at the College of Medical Technology since 2019. I have been collaborating in the department since 2015, teaching pathology for the Department of Physiotherapy and the Department of Anesthesia, and teaching general microbiology. I was the study and examination coordinator for the Department of Physiotherapy in 2019/2020 and an academic supervisor for a group of students. I am also obligated to have office hours in the department. I have supervised several graduation projects for students in the Department of Physiotherapy, as well as discussed several graduation projects in the department. I am seeking to develop the scientific material in the near future by adding the practical part because it is very important for the student to receive complete information and to provide special laboratories with the available capabilities.

Careers

Faculty member with the rank of assistant professor and four allowances. Permanent in the Department of Physical Therapy at the college. My previous work before moving to the university was at the Biotechnology Research Center. I participated in several scientific conferences and was on the preparatory committees as well as on the preparatory committee for the breast cancer campaign carried out by the Department of Genetic Engineering at the center in 2014. I have experience in real time PCR research laboratories during my work at the Biotechnology Research Center and participated in giving courses in this field at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tripoli, and scientific lectures. I also participated in several workshops inside and outside the center.

Research Interests

My research interests include research in the field of genetics and infectious viral diseases, as well as several researches on cancer diseases such as breast cancer. I participated in the Misurata Conference on Infection Control 2017, participated in the Second Scientific Research Conference of the Faculty of Medicine 2017, as well as the Third Conference 2018, and participated in the Breast Cancer Research Conference of the Biotechnology Research Center 2019. I published a paper in the Journal of Medical Sciences at the Infection Control Center 2021, in addition to publishing scientific papers in several international and local journals.

1- Participation in a scientific paper at the Second Medical Research Conference of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tripoli, which was published on January 30, 2017, entitled:

Incidence of HBV infections detected during pre-employment check-up in Tripoli, Libya.

2- Participation in attending the National Conference on Infection Control in Hospitals, which was held in Misurata on March 4-5, 2017.

3- Participation in the workshop "DNA extraction and polymerase chain reaction PCR" - Agricultural and Animal Research Center - 2016.

4- Participation in the workshop "Has attended the work shop titled Biorisk Management" - National Center for Communicable Disease Control - 2016

5- Participation in the workshop "Basics of Quality Control in Medical Laboratories - Ministry of Health - 2015

6- Member of the Preparatory Committee in the Hibati Breast Cancer Campaign - Biotechnology Research Center 2014 held in Tripoli.

External Activities

I participated in several conferences and workshops held by the Biotechnology Research Center, such as the 2014 Hebati Breast Cancer Campaign, the 2019 Breast Cancer Research Conference, and I was a member of the preparatory committee. The Ministry of Health also held such as the Rare Diseases Conference. I also gave awareness lectures on early detection of breast cancer 2023 under the supervision of Souq Al-Jumaa Education. I gave lectures in several schools and mosques in the region and I am still cooperating with them in the activities. I also refereed several promotions for faculty members at Tobruk University and Omar Al-Mukhtar University. I also published several research papers in international and local fields in the field of medical virology, genetics, breast cancer and other research.
