The professional duties involve contributing to the development of educational and training activities in the fields of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Medical Equipment, through teaching theoretical and practical courses, supervising students’ practical training, participating in examinations and academic assessment, and preparing and developing educational materials. They also include contributing to the organization of clinical training and internship programs and coordinating with healthcare and training institutions and centers. In addition, the duties involve participation in academic and administrative activities and committees within the department and faculty, as well as contributing to the improvement of the quality of medical education and community service.

Careers

Dr. Naser Ibrahim Ali Rashed serves as a Faculty Member at the rank of Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology, Faculty of Medical Technology, University of Tripoli. His responsibilities include teaching and training students in the fields of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Medical Equipment, supporting the educational and academic process, and participating in scientific and administrative activities within the department and faculty. He also has experience in medical education and training and in delivering scientific and specialized lectures, with a continuous commitment to professional, scientific, and academic development in the fields of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Medical Equipment.

Research Interests

His research interests focus on Radiology and Medical Imaging, Maxillofacial Radiology, Dental and Orthodontic Imaging, Medical Equipment, and advanced imaging technologies, with particular emphasis on the application of advanced imaging techniques in diagnosis, measurement, and scientific research. His main areas of interest include three-dimensional imaging, Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and cephalometric imaging.

External Activities

His external activities include participation in and delivery of scientific and specialized lectures and training programs in the fields of Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Medical Equipment, as well as contributing to scientific and professional activities. These activities also include following and reviewing published research and scientific studies in specialized medical journals and periodicals, keeping up to date with advances in imaging technologies and medical equipment, and exchanging expertise with academic, medical, and technical professionals, thereby supporting continuous development in education, training, and scientific research.
