Roles

Suleiman Al-Jard is currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Tripoli. He undertakes teaching tasks for students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also undertakes teaching tasks and directing students in their research. It also included academic supervision, conducting assessments and examinations, in addition to evaluating scientific production and promotion research for academic staff members .  Over the years, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses including the following subjects: General microbiology, Medical microbiology, and Molecular biology, as well as teaching Cell biology.

Careers

Suleiman Ali Al-Jard joined Al-Zawiya University, Faculty of Science, in 1995 as a faculty staff member at the college with the rank of Assistant Lecturer.  In the years 2009 to 2017, he was assigned to head the Department of Microbiology at the Faculty of  Medicine at Al-Zawiya University, and then he was assigned to the Department of Microbiology in Medical Sciences, from 2010-2015.  Suleiman Ali Al-Jard was assigned to the office of faculty staff members and teaching assistants in the year 2014-2016 at the faculty Medicine, Al-Zawiya, and he was also a member of the Scientific Committee of the College of Human Medicine at Al-Zawiya University, and he was assigned the task of dean of the Faculty of Medicine and the College of Dentistry, Sorman Branch in 2016. Dr. Suleiman Al-Jard cooperated  In the field of teaching the medical microbiology course in each of the following faculties (Faculties of Medicine, University of Benghazi, Al-Marj branch, Faculty of Medicine, Zintan University, Faculty of Medicine, Gharyan University, Faculty of  Medicine, Al-Marqab University, Faculty of medicine  and Dental Medicine, Sirte University, Faculty of Nursing and Medical Technology, University of Tripoli.), and was also a collaborating professor at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies, and a supervisor for postgraduate students to obtain a master's degree.  Suleiman Ali Al-Jard transferred to the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Tripoli in 2019.

Research Interests

Suleiman Ali Al-Jard has a long experience in scientific research and his research interests focus on the fields of medical microbiology and DNA technologies.

External Activities

Suleiman Ali Al-Jard collaborated with the Ministry of Agriculture, Tripoli, on genetic classification techniques for purebred horses.  Giving training courses in the field of BCR techniques.
