Roles
Started to work in Tripoli, Libya in August, 2008, as Program Coordinator for two Years until 2010. Then as coordinator for Studies and examination for another 2 years. Department Head of Midwifery and Neonatology from 2013-2016. Presently, as the Department Head of General Nursing unit.
Careers
My two years Pre Nursing Course was taken at Saint Louise University as a requirement for my proper nursing course. This qualified me to enroll my 4 year nursing course which was completed in the year 1978 and in 1979 I finished my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the same University. For my Master’s degree in nursing, I graduated at Saint Paul University in 1996, major in Primary Health Care & community Health Nursing. Furthermore, I finished 39 units of my PhD at Benguet State University, Philippines.
My work experience started upon BSN graduation. My first Job is in Community Health Nursing in the Rural Health Unit. Then ventured in teaching in the school of nursing as early as 1980 to
1986. From teaching my interest shifted to work abroad at Maternity and Children’s Hospital, in Dammam city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 6 years. After the gulf war, I went home to the Philippines and continued my teaching career in Benguet State University, college of nursing until 2008. Once again my passion for teaching inspired me to join the pioneers of Filipino teachers in the Faculty of Nursing in the University of Tripoli, Libya 2008.
