Mustafa Ali Abugila is a faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry and clinical biochemistry at the faculty of Pharmacy. Professor. Mustafa Ali Abugila has been working at the University of Tripoli as a professor since 01-08-1986 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization. Experience:   1- Head of the department of clinical biochemistry, Elhadra university teaching hospital (1981-1983)

2- Head of the department of clinical chemistry, National  cancer institute(Sabrata), 1998-2007.

3- Head of the department of biochemistry and clinical biochemistry, faculty of pharmacy, university of Tripoli (2006-2008)/  (2012-up to now).

4- Visiting professor of clinical biochemistry, faculty of Pharmacy & medical technology,  university of Zawia, Libya ( 2002-2012).

5- External examiner at faculty of medicine in universities of Sabha(south of Libya), Bengazi(east of Libya), El Komus, Garyan: departments of biochemistry, since 1998-up to now.

6- Participated in many international and national conferences

7- Acted as a chairman of sessions in many international and local conferences

8- Activities: (I) teaching post graduate students( M.Sc. in clinical Biochemistry, Sabha University : Teaching and as external examiner. Teaching and as examiner: Libyan Academy of Sciences, Tripoli,

(II) Involved as a member or a chairman of many educational committees

(III) Sabbatical leave conducted in:    (1) university of Cairo   (2) university of El Azhair    university of technology Malaysia  (institute of bioproduct development, Johor city.)(3)
