Dr. Manal Alsaadi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli. Her academic duties include teaching undergraduate students all the course material related to the manufacturing of dosage forms as well the supervision of final year projects. in addition to her academic role, Dr. Manal Alsaadi has also been tasked with administrative duties as member of the Faculty's Study and Examination committee as well as the Quality and Performance Evaluation committee. Currently she is Head of the Research and Consultation Office at the Faculty

Careers

Dr. Manal Alsaadi started her professional career as a Teaching Assistant in 2004 in the Department of Industrial Pharmacy. After she was a warded her PhD from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK in 2012, she was appointed as a Lecturer in 2013 in the Department of Industrial Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli. She was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2016 nd promoted to Associate Professor in 2023

Research Interests

The research interests of Dr. Manal Alsaadi include the use of nanotechnology, particularly liposomes, in enhancing drug delivery including their preparation and characterisation. Also, she is interested in formulation science in improving the bioavailability of a number of active pharmaceutical ingredients
