He participates in establishing the foundations and general framework for teaching these courses and in developing the department's curricula from a practical and applied perspective. Students study the composition of drugs for different dosage forms, manufacturing methods, and the modern and diverse equipment used in various stages of production, as well as the problems that occur during manufacturing, studying their causes, how to avoid them, and overcoming them, as well as methods for testing drugs and the modern devices used in testing. Dr. Mohamed encourages his students to learn drug manufacturing techniques through assignments he assigns as part of the activities and learning process in the courses he teaches. Students choose formulations and compositions for certain drugs and are required to prepare reports detailing the manufacturing methods and steps for producing these formulations, the equipment used in their production, filling, and packaging, as well as preparing scientific presentations and posters on topics related to drug manufacturing, quality control, modern technologies, artificial intelligence, and its applications in the production and regulation of pharmaceutical products. He tries to establish and deepen the principles of good manufacturing practices in pharmaceuticals among students due to their significant importance in drug manufacturing and drug regulation laboratories. He offers advice to those who seek it.

Research Interests
3. Research InterestsSince Libya is considered a country that imports medicines from various companies worldwide, the quality of these imported medicines concerns many researchers, pharmacists, doctors, and citizens. Therefore, Dr. Mohammed conducted research on the quality of pharmaceutical products available in the country. He studied the packaging materials used for pharmaceutical products in the local market and examined the availability of sufficient and appropriate information on medicine packaging and pharmaceutical products, whether on the primary or secondary containers, as well as in the internal leaflets. He assessed whether these products provide necessary information in the local language (Arabic) for consumers. These research findings were presented at specialized scientific conferences. Due to the lack of research capabilities in industrial pharmacy at the University of Tripoli, Dr. Mohammed shifted his focus from research to teaching, as well as developing and updating the curricula of the courses he teaches and fulfilling other assigned tasks. Currently, Dr. Mohammed is interested in the applications of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, along with the new opportunities they present for the field of pharmacy, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.
