ü June - September 2014, visiting research scholar at the College of Pharmacy and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Toledo, OHAIO, United States of America, for a joint research project.
ü September 2008-July 2009, joined the research team of the Applied Science University, Amman, Jordan, working on the development and screening of the anticancer activity of some medicinal plants in Jordan. And the Pharmaceutical Analysis Research team at the Faculty of Pharmacy at
the University of Jordan.
ü August 2003 to date, member of the Libyan pharmaceutical analysis research unit (LPARU) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tripoli University, conducting research on drug analysis and chiral separation using HPLC in Libya and jointly conducting research with: 1. the pharmaceutical analysis unit team of the University of Liège, Belgium on the chiral capillary electrophoresis, 2. The Analytical chemistry research unit of the Faculty of Science, University of Tanata, Egypt, 3. Joint research program with the Analytical Chemistry department, University of Zagazig, Egypt, 4. Joint research with the Chemistry department at The Faculty of Sciences, Alazher University, Egypt, 5. Joint research group at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jordan, Amman.
ü December 1998 to July 2003, member of the pharmaceutical analysis team in method development and validation by using HPLC and CE.
ü January 1999 to July 2003, joined the Department of Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Service d’Analyse des Médicaments), Institute of Pharmacy, University of Liège, doing research work leading to a Ph.D. in a pharmaceutical analysis titled: “Prediction and optimization of selectivity for enantiomeric separations in capillary electrophoresis using dual cyclodextrin systems”.
ü November 1992 to August 1995, joined the Pharmaceutical Analysis Research Unit (PARU), Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, University of Bradford, working
on the separation of the enantiomers of drugs by HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) either
by using chiral mobile phase additives and chiral stationary phases in HPLC or by the addition of chiral selectors to the buffer solution in CE.
