Roles

Asma Eswayah graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli, and worked as a teaching assistant. She got a scholarship for graduate study in the Federal Republic of Germany, and after obtaining her doctorate degree, she worked as a faculty member in the Department of Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli, as a lecturer, then as a professor since August 2022. She published a number of scientific papers in prestigious journals in the field of Medicinal  Chemistry and drug discovery sciences. During her work in the department, she supervised many graduation projects for undergraduates and participated in teaching graduate students.

2004-2010: PhD candidate in Germany

2011 – Present: Faculty member at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli

Research Interests

Her field of interest in scientific research include medicinal chemistry and drug discovery. She has published many research papers in refereed scientific journals.

External Activities

- She has been involved as a reviewer and referee for some research papers in Saudi pharmaceutical journal, Oriental journal of chemistry and Annals of internal medicine.

- Member of the editorial board of Tripolitana medical journal

- Reviewer in the Mediterranean journal of pharmacy and medical sciences
