Pِrof.Dr. ALI MANSOUR EADEK GIURNAZI is one of the staff members at the department of  faculty of Pharmacy. He is working as a since 2008-08-29. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several publications in the field of his interest.

Research Interests

-   Drug Metabolism and Toxicity: Xenobiotic Mediated Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in Cellular and Subcellular (liver and brain) and in rat hepatocytes.

-   Tissue Culture: Hepatotoxicity and Neurotoxicity in rat liver hepatocytes and brain cell line.

-   Good practical laboratory worker on a wide range of cell biology techniques.

-   Induction of Type 2B and Type 1A cytochrome P450 Monoxygenase Activity by phenobarbitone and β-naphthoflavone in rat liver microsomes.

-   Retrospective Clinical Studies on renal failure، bronchial asthma، glaucoma، Diabetes mellitus، hypertension، heart failure cancer and skin diseases in Libyan patients.

-   Evaluation of natural products (e.g. Salvia Fruticosa) as hepatoprotective effect in experimental animals.

-   Studies on Analgesic، Antipyretic and Anti-inflammatory Activities of Selective Libyan Medicinal plant Extracts (e.g. Salvia fruticosa، Thapsia، and BallotaDictamnus) in Albino Mice.
