Roles

• Marwa Awhida a Mejri is a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli.
• Mrs. Marwa Awhida worked as a research assistant in 2004 in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, and obtained her master's degree in the same specialization in 2016 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
• Mrs. Marwa Awhida worked as a cooperating faculty member in teaching physiology at the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Tripoli, from 2017 to 2021. 
• Mrs. Marwa Awhida at the University of Tripoli has appointed the Faculty of Pharmacy as a permanent faculty member with the rank of assistant lecturer since 2021 specializing in physiology and has many scientific activities, research and publications in the field of physiology.

Careers

• Mrs. Marwa Awhida has been working for twenty years full-time in the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli, as a research assistant until she obtained a master's degree in physiology in a research project under the title (Study of some factors affecting the absorption of vitamin C using the gut sac heart model of mice) From then the trait turned into a faculty member in the same department dedicated to teaching tasks and scientific research in conjunction with supervising the development of theoretical exams and Laboratory in the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy.

Research Interests

• She has published much scientific research in various international journals, and these research include part of her master's thesis.
• It currently has many scientific papers under submission in addition to the academic and research supervision of undergraduate students at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

External Activities

• As for the activities practiced outside the university, it is also related to scientific research in various research centers such as the Center for Food and Pharmaceuticals.
• She attends scientific conferences and seminars related to the field of medical research in connection with the specialization.
• Preparing free medical awareness lectures related to widespread diseases, seasonal diseases and early detection of breast cancer in many public and private centers and universities.
• Attending lectures and workshops on the number of lectures and using the latest programs to display the content of lectures in an interesting way.
