Roles

Prof. Dr. Abdurrauf Mohammad Gusbi is one of the faculty members in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Mr. Gusbi has been working at the University of Tripoli as a professor since 1/10/2015 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

Prof. Dr. Gusbi studied at the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom, Department of Pharmacy and obtained a doctorate degree in 1999 in the field of biopharmaceutics and clinical pharmacokinetics and also obtained a master's degree from the same university in the field of pharmaceuticals in 1992 and obtained a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Tripoli in 1986.

He is certified in Basic Concepts of Good Manufacturing Practices from the World Health Organization in 2001, obtained an external and internal auditor certificate for quality assurance from Moody International in 2005 and Dr. Gusbi has a certificate from the University of North Texas in DNA analysis technology and in forensic genetic and DNA database technology in 2015.

Dr. Gusbi attended many courses inside and outside Libya, including the Humanitarian Management Systems Course at the University of Tripoli in 2016 and the Drug Policy Development Course in Libya under the supervision of the World Health Organization in Tunisia in 2018 and attended the Food Policy Development Course in Libya in Tunisia under the supervision of the Food and Drug Organization in 2019.

Research Interests

Among Dr. Gusbi interests include:

Study the design and development of drugs and study the effect of drugs on the body 

The use of biotechnology in the development and production of drugs

Study and apply drugs in clinical practice to improve patient health outcomes.
