Abdulsalam ِAmmarah is one of the staff members at the department of pharmaceutics in the faculty of pharmacy since January 1993 till now. He teaches several subjects that related to biopharmaceutics and clinical pharmacokinetics. He has several publications in the field of interest. He has supervised about twenty-five graduation projects for pharmacy students. Additionally, supervision of about 4 master degrees.

Research Interests
Investigations and pharmacokinetic studies on topical application in animals. Investigations on transdermal delivery of drugs including: Pre-formulation studies (determination of physicochemical parameters: pharmacokinetic, drug solubility, drug stability, partition coefficient). Skin preparation and in vitro studies using diffusion cell techniques. Studies on the effect of dermatological vehicles and penetration enhancers. Transdermal therapeutics systems (TTS) with or without controlling membrane. Pharmacokinetic and bioavailability studies in animal models.
External Activities
Deputy editor-in-chief of Mediterranean journal pf pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences since January 2021 till now. Peer-reviewer of Iberoamerican journal of medicine. I am looking forward to participate in national and international academic and scientific conferences and symposia that are interested in promoting the scientific movement in the country as speaker or as a member of scientific committee.
