Wadiaa Ben Amer is one of the faculty members in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the pharmacy faculty. Mrs. Wadiaa Ben amer has been working as an associate professor at the University of Tripoli  since 2/6/2021. She has many scientific publications in her field of specialization and was working as a coordinator for the Pharmaceutical Department in the Quality assessment Team of the pharmacy faculty from 2018-2021, in addition to that she was working as a coordinator for the Department of Pharmaceutics at the Department of Research, Consultation and Training in the  pharmacy faculty (2021- 2024). She is now working as a member of the Scientific Committee at the  Pharmacy faculty.

- Design and development of Novel Pharmaceutical Dosage forms.

- Formulation, characterisation and evaluation of biodegradable microspheres as drug delivery systems.

- Improvement of the preparative methods for chitosan- triphosphate microparticles for perspective application in the fields of cell encapsulation and controlled drug delivery.

- Polymers and biomaterials. 

My interest in research began following obtaining the masters degree from Strathclyde University:

External Activities

In addition to my work as a faculty member at the University of Tripoli, I cooperate with Libyan universities and participate in reviewing faculty members’ research for the purpose of promotion, in addition to participating as an external examiner in  pharmacy faculties.
