Roles
I worked as a Lecturer at the College of Pharmacy, University of Tripoli, Libya, where I was involved in teaching and supporting undergraduate pharmacy students in pharmacy practice and therapeutics. My responsibilities included delivering lectures and facilitating classroom learning in accordance with the course requirements and learning objectives.
I prepared syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials for individual class sessions, ensuring that the content was aligned with the stated course objectives and appropriate for the students’ level of study. I selected and organized relevant scientific and clinical materials and presented them in an engaging and understandable manner to facilitate students’ understanding and application of pharmaceutical and therapeutic concepts.
In addition to teaching, I provided academic guidance and support to students, advising them on their coursework, academic progression, and available degree options. I also contributed to creating an interactive learning environment that encouraged students to develop their knowledge and understanding of pharmacy practice and therapeutics.
During my time at the University of Tripoli, I also pursued postgraduate education at the College of Pharmacy, completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in Clinical Pharmacokinetics, from November 2017 to October 2021. My postgraduate studies strengthened my knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical sciences, with particular emphasis on the clinical application of pharmacokinetic principles, drug disposition, and the optimization of pharmacotherapy.
Overall, my experience at the University of Tripoli combined academic teaching, curriculum and instructional planning, student mentoring, and postgraduate scientific training, providing me with a strong foundation in both pharmacy education and clinical pharmaceutical sciences.
