Description

The master's program aims to graduate researchers with extensive and modern scientific and technical knowledge, as well as the necessary methodologies for designing, creating and developing computer systems and establishing the scientific base and methodologies for research and development to continue in the field of computer science.

Objectives

1. Preparing the student adequately scientifically so that he can master the basics of computer science in order to draw the required results from practical experiments.2. Giving the student the opportunity to study in-depth in the fields of computer science with the use of mathematical and computational methods necessary to keep pace with and enrich modern scientific research.3. Guiding and training the student on scientific research methods while allowing him to participate and contribute in his field of specialization, under the supervision of specialists.4. Acquaintance with the basic concepts in the various fields of computer science, in addition to employing these principles and basic concepts in the student's future professional life.5. The student should be familiar with and master modern technologies in order to employ them and choose the appropriate career path for him.

Entry Reuirements

Students are accepted according to the criteria in force in the internal regulations for postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli. The applicant is accepted to join the postgraduate program as follows:

  • The applicant must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized educational institution.
  • The applicant must successfully pass the admission test prepared by the department.
  • The department has the right to compare the applicants through the result of the differentiation exam to choose the best, according to the number specified for the batch by the department.
  • Admission does not contradict the regulations governing postgraduate studies in Libyan universities or the internal regulations for postgraduate studies in the college.
  • The applicant must have studied and successfully passed the preliminary (remedial) courses, in case he was asked to do so, according to the requirements of the courses for the postgraduate program.
