Dr. Tareq Hamed Al-Muzughi is a member in the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli. Dr. Tariq  has been working at the University of Tripoli as an associated professor since June 1, 2021 . He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization and performs many teaching and research tasks.

Careers

Before joining the University of Tripoli, Dr. Tariq Al-Muzughi worked at the Al-Biruni Center for Remote Sensing since 1993, where he held several administrative positions. In 2016, he moved to work as an assistant professor in the Department of Geography and Geographic Information System, Faculty of Arts - University of Tripoli. Then he moved in 2021 to work as an associate professor in Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli.

Research Interests

Dr. Tariq Al-Muzughii is interested in scientific researches in the field of applying remote sensing and geographic information systems in geological studies and natural hazards. Dr. Tariq has published original researches in local and international peer-reviewed journals.

Founding member of the Libyan Society for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems since 2014

Member of the Scientific Committee for the First International Conference on Geospatial Technologies - Tripoli, from 6-9 December 2015.

Member of the Scientific Committee for the Third International Conference on Geospatial Technologies - Tripoli in the period from 19-21 December 2017.
