Roles

Migdad Shuaib is an Assistant Professor, holding a PhD in Geophysics from USTHB in Algeria, an MSc from KFUPM in Saudi Arabia, and a BSc from the University of Khartoum, Sudan. He has extensive academic experience teaching applied geophysics courses and supervising undergraduate research, alongside practical expertise in groundwater exploration using geophysical methods. His research focuses on seismic inversion, multi-attribute analysis, neural networks, and thin-bed reservoir characterization. He has published in international journals, contributed to numerous technical reports on groundwater projects across Sudan, and is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). He has also received several academic awards recognizing his excellence.
