Contributed to the educational process during my tenure as a Demonstrator in the Geophysics Department by delivering both practical and theoretical courses, organizing and conducting laboratory sessions, preparing and grading exercises and exams, and participating in the department’s academic and research activities. Additionally, I supported related academic and administrative tasks.

Research Interests

My research focuses on seismology and seismic hazard assessment, including the analysis of seismic records and source determination, studying active faults and their geophysical properties, and employing numerical models to estimate seismic vibration intensity, assess structural fragility, and develop seismic hazard maps while examining spatial variations in expected intensity.

My work also involves building reliable databases for historical seismic events and enhancing monitoring and early warning capabilities, contributing to a better understanding of seismic behavior and supporting risk reduction efforts.

External Activities

Participation in specialized courses and scientific workshops in geophysics and seismology, including the International Training Course in Seismology and Seismic Hazard at the GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences in Germany. I also maintain continuous engagement with scientific developments and participate in research activities relevant to the field.
