Roles

I have taught numerous courses and have also been engaged in the quality assurance program, where I classified several undergraduate courses as well as many postgraduate (Master’s) courses. We contributed to raising the students’ academic level by organizing field trips and subsurface investigations using modern instruments and equipment.

Currently, I am serving as the Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies in the Department of Geophysics, where I oversee postgraduate programs at both the Master’s and Ph.D. levels.

Careers

I was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer on 12 September 2008, and I was sent to the United States of America where I completed my studies and obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Geophysics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology on 16 December 2017. I returned to the university and was promoted to Assistant Professor on 2 September 2021.

Research Interests

I conduct research and studies on various applications and geophysical methods, including participating in tasks related to solving problems concerning the nature of the Earth and investigating its geological content and structure.

External Activities

I have carried out numerous evaluations of research papers for Sebha University as well as Misurata University, and I also participated in the training program for university graduates and members of the National Oil Corporation.
