Careers
An academic researcher and lecturer with extensive experience in physics, nanophotonics, and quantum information. My career spans academia, research, and industrial consulting, with a strong focus on quantum technologies, optical engineering, and project management.
I currently hold the position of lecturer at the University of Tripoli, Libya, where I teach General Physics, Medical Physics, and Electrical Physics. Previously, I worked as an independent consultant (2019–2023), providing expertise in technology and project management across various industries.
My research experience includes working at Jiangsu University, China (2015–2016), where I taught MATLAB for microscopy applications and conducted research on nanomaterials for medical applications. I also participated in nanophotonics projects at Aarhus University, Denmark (2014). Additionally, I conducted advanced research at Stockholm University, Sweden, where I worked on the development of high-resolution microscopy systems (Confocal and STED) for single-photon detection and superconducting nanowires.
I hold a Ph.D. in Quantum Information from Lund University, Sweden, where I specialized in quantum memories for long-distance quantum communication. I also earned a Master’s degree in Laser Spectroscopy from Seoul National University, South Korea, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Tripoli, Libya.
As a PMP®-certified project manager, I have over five years of experience leading successful projects and working directly with clients to achieve their goals. My technical skills include MATLAB, Python, and LabVIEW, along with expertise in leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication. I am fluent in Arabic, English, and Swedish, enabling me to work in multicultural environments.
