Muhammad Hamza is a faculty member in the Department of Physics, College of Science. He works as a lecturer and researcher. He also currently holds the position of quality coordinator in the department and supervises the department's page on the university's website. He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

Careers

Before joining the University of Tripoli, Professor Mohamad Hamza worked at the Central Agency for Electronic Research for sixteen years, during which he held the position of Head of the Calibration and Measurements Department as well as Director of the Quality Control Office, then he obtained a master’s degree in Physics in 2013 from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli, then he joined the Faculty of Education, Qasr Bin Ghashir, a year 2016 and held the position of Head of the Department of Physics and Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs and contributed to the Committee for Unifying the Curricula of the Colleges of Education at the University of Tripoli as a committee member, then moved to the College of Education Tripoli and held the position of Director of the Office of Faculty Members Affairs in the college before moving to the Department of Physics at the College of Science in 2021 and now works as a lecturer with a degree Assistant Professor.

Research Interests

One of the most important research areas in which Professor Muhammad Hamzah works is polymer physics by studying the optical and electrical properties of some polymeric compounds, and he has published many researches in this field.
