Roles

Farag Elmzughi is one of the faculty members in the Department of Physics, College of Science, University of Tripoli. He works as a lecturer and researcher with the rank of professor. He has held many leadership positions in the college, the most important of which are Dean of the College, Head of the Physics Department, and Director of the Office of Faculty Affairs. He has many research works in his field of specialization.

Careers

Mr. Farag Elmzughi worked as a researcher at the Nuclear Research Center in the period from 1983-1985, then he was appointed as a teaching assistant in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli, and obtained a master’s degree in 1988. He began as an assistant lecturer in the period from 1989-1991, and obtained a doctorate from the University of Essex in Britain in the year. 1995 He worked as a lecturer in the Department of Physics, College of Science. He served as Head of the Department of Physics from the year 2008-2009 and obtained the rank of Professor in 2009. He also served during the period from 2009-2012 the position of Dean of the College of Science at the University of Tripoli and Vice Dean of Al-Zaytouna University from the year 2014-2015. He currently works as a lecturer and researcher with a degree. Professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli

Research Interests

One of the most important research areas served by Dr. Farag Elmzughi study optical and electrical characteristics of some vehicles and published many research in this area.As supervised by many masters in physics.
