After she joined the University of Tripoli, primarily in teaching and research roles, Miss Nabila Abugnieda now works full-time as a lecturer for many courses in the Physic Department
Miss Nabila taught many courses in different Faculties, such as general Physics courses for the faculty of Engineering (GS111, Thermal Physics, Sound, and Light, GS112, Electrostatic Physics, and GS112L Laboratory Physics), Current Electrical Physics course ITPh111 Faculty of Information Technology, as well as Medical Physics course, MP243, for the Faculty of Medical Technology, and General Mechanics course, Ph1113 For The Faculty of Agriculture. Also, the Ph112 static electricity course for the faculty of Science. In addition, she assigned to coordinate the medical physics course MP243, and she also has some research work in progress.

Prior to joining the University of Tripoli, Miss Nabila worked for several years in the field of scientific research.
She served as a researcher in the Plasma Research Laboratory, head of Laser Section, member of team to operate laser machine (Marking Machine EVLASER75D) in Plasma research laboratory / Libyan Authority of Natural Science Research Technology. As well, part-time lecturer in Department of Physics - Faculty of Science, Faculty of IT and Faculty of Engineering. Also, part-time lecturer, Higher Institute of Engineering Careers. and part-time lecturer in Higher Institute of Optics Engineering careers and Higher Institute of Medical careers - Tripoli.

Miss Nabila Abugnieda is interested in several topics in physics, such as Condensed Matter Physics (superconductivity), where she previously participated in Libya International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Technology -LICEET 2018.In addition to, his interested in research in the field of medical physics and ultraviolet radiation UV.

Although, her work focuses primarily on the academic field but Miss Nabila Abugnieda recently worked with the Municipal Council of Tajoura on a project to insert the scientific research and encourage high school's students to study the physics specialization.
