Roles

I am working as an associate Professor of Physics at this university and my role involves teaching, supervision, research. I published a number of scientific papers in international journals and conferences, and edited several strategic, educational, professional  and annual reports.  

Careers

I joined this university two decades ago and prior to that I was working as a lecturer at the Higher institute of Electronics, Libya. Besides my academic duties as an associate Prof. of Physics, I performed several administrative and professional roles, such as the Director of the university Office and  faculty unit for quality (2007-2014), the Director of the university strategic planning committee(2011-2016). 

Research Interests

My research interest is centered around high-Tc superconductivity and the main aim is to understand the correlation between the microstructure and the superconducting, magnetic and pinning properties of these materials. Additionally, I have recently started doing some work on some other in electrodynamics using theoretical/computational approach. 

External Activities

I have worked as a referee and examiner for research papers and M.Sc. thesis.
