Roles

Abdusalam is a faculty member in the Physics Department at the College of Science. Mr. Abdul Salam has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer in the Department of Physics at the University of Tripoli since 2014 and has many scientific publications in various fields. 

In addition to teaching and administrative activities, one of the duties of a faculty member is to practice scientific research, as I have a special interest in scientific research in the field of renewable energies, especially solar energy, and electromechanical systems as well.

Currently, he is the coordinator of the laboratories office in the College of Science, as well as the laboratories coordinator in the Physics Department

Teaching assistant 2007 then lecturer 2014 till now. 

Research Interests

Solar energy, renewable energies, and solid state physics. 

External Activities

A cooperative trainer in preparing the first course for technicians in the field of solar energy at the Libyan-Korean Center - affiliated with the Ministry of Labor.

Preparer of training programs in the field of solar energy at Aristotle Engineering Education Company. Participation in training on renewable energies in the National Oil Corporation’s 7000+ project to qualify its employees.

Participation in the solar energy exhibition sponsored by the Office of Leadership and Innovation at the University of Tripoli and with the participation of a group of private and public companies, displaying their products and giving specialized lectures in this field.

Participation to scientific day  at faculty of education at gaser ben ghesheer as lecturer about the application of solar energy for water pumping for its application in agriculture , industrial, residual, and daily usage to different water system
