Careers

Before joining the University of Tripoli, Mrs. Souad Bouqrin worked in secondary school for ten years, during which she completed postgraduate studies and obtained a graduate degree (Master’s) in 2010. Then she moved to higher technical education in 2012 and worked as a lecturer at the Higher Institute of Engineering Sciences and held the position of Head of the Optics Technology Department. Engineering before moving to the Physics Department at the Faculty of Science at the University of Tripoli in 2019 and now works as a lecturer with the rank of Assistant Professor.

Research Interests

One of the most important research fields in which Mrs. Souad Bouqrin works is nuclear physics by studying nuclear models and determining the nuclear properties of materials. She has published many researches in this field.

External Activities

Mrs. Souad Bouqrin participated in more than one workshop regarding revising and unifying curricula in technical institutes for optics departments. She prepared a proposal for the physical subjects in the Engineering Optics Department. She also contributed to the committee for unifying curricula for the department in general.
