Roles

Souad Al-Azabi is a faculty member in the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy at the College of Physical Education. Mrs. Souad Al-Azabi has been working at the University of Tripoli as an assistant professor since 03-08-2018 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. She was appointed as coordinator of graduate studies in the department and a member of the differentiation examinations committee for the graduate and bachelor’s studies levels, as well as one of the members of the scientific committee in the department.

Careers

She was accepted as a teaching assistant in the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy in 2000, then she was appointed as a member of the college’s teaching staff since 2005. She was assigned to teach health education and physical fitness, then she obtained a doctorate in 2012. She taught many subjects, namely steroids, first aid, and sports biology, and was promoted. To the rank of assistant professor as of 2018, she supervised many bachelor’s degree graduation research, discussed many master’s theses as an internal discussant, and evaluated master’s theses as a secret evaluator of scientific theses.

Research Interests

It pays attention to research, seminars and courses in the field of specialization and has published research at the local and international levels as follows:

Identifying some factors affecting the lack of improvement in the level of athletic achievement in athletics, Journal of Sports and Related Sciences, Issue Twenty-Two, 2014.

Motivations for the participation of middle school students in group games, the sixteenth international scientific conference, Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Al-Haram, Helwan University, 2015.

Health trends and their relationship to healthy behavior for students of the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the Journal of Sports and Related Sciences, Issue Twenty-Four, 2016

The impact of the quality of educational services on the level of satisfaction of students of the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, Journal of Sports and Related Sciences, Issue Thirty-Second, 2022.

We are waiting for three research papers in the process of being published at the Fourth Scientific Conference of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, December 2023, and the Journal of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Tripoli and Al-Zawiya 2023.

External Activities

Participation in arbitration of the scientific thesis and participation in the supervision of scientific theses and conferences.
