A faculty member of the Department of Sharia and Law at the college, he has many scientific publications in his field of specialization and has held many positions at Omar Al-Mukhtar University and Derna, and is a member of many scientific and administrative committees at the colleges of Omar Al-Mukhtar University and Derna.

1. Assistant lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Qarunous University, 1981.

2. Faculty member at Omar Al-Mukhtar University from 1987.

3. Assigned to establish and set up the Faculty of Economics at Omar Al-Mukhtar University, Derna (Dean 1991-1994).

4. Head of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, Derna 1995-2002 and then 2007-2016.

5. Member of the Faculty Affairs Committee at Omar Al-Mukhtar University from April 2012 to April 2014.

Research Interests

Interested in both the academic and practical aspects of the Department of Agricultural Economics and related fields, he works as an economics lecturer at Libyan universities. He has participated in various scientific and practical activities in the Economics Department through his membership in different committees and contributed to the preparation and development of the internal regulations for the College of Economics. He has also contributed to the preparation of numerous scientific memoranda and is working on writing a textbook for the Mathematical Analysis course. His research interests include production economics, feasibility studies, and economic project evaluation. Below are some of his published research works:

I collaborated in teaching at several colleges and higher institutes due to a shortage of faculty members.
