Turkiya Abdel-Hafiz Al-Waer is a faculty member in the Department of Sharia at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences, Tajoura. She holds a PhD from Mohammed V University in Rabat 2021, and holds a master’s degree in sociology from the Academy of Graduate Studies 2007. Her academic degree is lecturer.

Chairman of Atwar Organization for Community Research and Development, a non-governmental organization founded in 2015.
