Roles

dr. Salem Farah Omar Aqeel working  full-time as a lecturer, and he has carried out many tasks in the college, including his participation in a conference: on atheism in the evaluation committee and participation in the preparation and description of courses in the college. He is a lecturer and researcher and is currently working with a group of students on graduate research as a supervisor,

He encourages and supports the college's research culture and inculcates it among the students. He has a set of responsibilities in monitoring the quality of research. He is a member of the College's business and management review committee and as a reviewer for research ethics applications.

Careers

Dr. Salem obtained a PhD in Islamic Sharia from the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Cairo University, and he had obtained a master’s degree in Islamic Sharia from the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Cairo University as well, and took a higher diploma from the Institute of Islamic Studies Cairo, and obtained a BA in Islamic Studies at the Open University of Libya. 

Research Interests

Dr. Salem has research and research posts under preparation, and his research interests are wide, but he mainly focuses on the noble hadith and its sciences. He currently has a number of papers in the pipeline and is working on projects with a group of students and as a research reviewer.

External Activities

Over the past years, Dr. Salem has been a regular reviewer of mainly diverse hadith manuscripts and a researcher on everything related to the field of hadith science, and has reviewed contributions to a range of scholarly conferences.
